CNN —When Volkswagen decided to relaunch the Scout SUV brand it took a very unusual step. The revived and revamped Scout Motors will introduce its new brand of all-electric off-road-capable SUVs, kind of like Rivian. Buzz, an electric update of the classic hippie bus, VW is touching on nostalgia to reach a new generation of car buyers. VW came to own the trademark for the defunct brand in 2021 when it purchased Navistar, a successor company to International Harvester. Scout’s parent company, Volkswagen, is building its own EV battery plant in Canada and a battery engineering lab in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Lotul naţional de sambo al Republicii Moldova s-a întors de la Campionatul Mondial de Sambo cu 12 medalii. În perioada 4 - 9 noiembrie în Novi Sad, Serbia, s-a desfăşurat Campionatul Mondial de Sambo, de unde sportivii din R. Moldova s-au întors cu patru medalii de argint şi opt medalii de bronz obţinute la mai multe categorii de greutate, relatează Moldpres. În acelaşi timp, ne dorim ca autorităţile să susţină şi mai mult acest sport”, a declarat antrenorul Mihail Fistican. În acelaşi timp, antrenorul a specificat că aceste remarcabile rezultate aduc puncte valoroase lotului naţional de sambo şi pregătesc echipa pentru viitoare competiţii. Sabina Artemciuc a cucerit pentru a doua oară medalia de bronz la un Campionat Mondial de sambo. După succesul de la București din 2018, sportiva de 24 de ani s-a remarcat și la Novi Sad. Ea a debutat cu o înfrângere în limitele categoriei de greutate 60 kg, în fața viitoarei finaliste, uzbeka Ibodatkhow Agojonova. În recalificări, Sabina a dispus de ucraineanca Uliana Kliapka și s-a ales cu un loc pe podium. Printre cele 8 competitoare a triumfat rusoaica Gulfia Mukhtarova.
